... the cardinal is finished, now I need to decide what background to use. In the quilt shop,we tried many different background fabrics and I decided to use these two green fabrics for the background.
Now I need to decide which direction to put the background four patch! Deciding may take a little time. I will be adding a branch for the cardinal to sit on and have chosen a lovely batik in a warm brown.
Any thoughts on which direction works better for this bird?

Oh, my goodness, I love Mr. Cardinal! I always feel that someone who's passed is stopping by to say hello when I see one. I like the first photo where he's nestled into the green fabric. He looks more comfortable there! *Coming to you through the 31 Days link-up!
