Winter has definitely come to my neighborhood. The snowfall is sticking, the temperatures have crashed and the wind whistles right on through.
I feel cold!
Thankfully, I have this lovely rice bag that my sister made for me. She used an orphan block to make a sleeve (that can be washed) and the rice bag slides right in ... It is my favorite thing right now, visiting the microwave frequently to warm it up again!
I think I need to make a shawl version that can go around my shoulders ... with a nice, cozy flannel cover. I'm glad the sewing dungeon is in a heated basement!
