Nothing new on my design wall...it still looks like it did last Monday.
Why? Because I have been spending hours and hours doing micro quilting on my challenge quilt. I have 3/4 of the field quilted and almost half of the borders quilted. Then I will have to dissolve the wash away stitches, block and bind it. I have a deadline that I hope to meet without paying big bucks to ship!
I have been looking at shipping options and think I will be using a mailing tube. This quilt is stiff as cardboard from all of the quilting and if I roll it, it shouldn't have crease marks, right????

Looks beautiful! Check your show guidelines - some shows won't let you mail in those tubes.
I can only dream of having your talent.
If you can't tube it, try folding it on the bias-take the 4 corners and fold them to the center, take the "new" corners and fold them in etc. doesn't seem to crease on the bias (that was in an OLD Quilters Newsletter Mag) sorry I don't know the issue. I've just started doing this my self, not sure if I have the entire technique but it seems to work.
Your quilt is fab, btw.
There are no restrictions on tubing for this challenge (whew!) but I will remember to search out that diagonal folding method from my back issues for another time/quilt :)
thanks for the kudos, I'm pretty excited about how this quilt is turning out.
